How a new project runs
Every new project runs in 4 stages. Each stage ends with something for you to look at, and the next one starts only after you've approved it.
No website yet? Then the audit looks at your competitors' sites and at sites you like, and the spec is built from what it finds.

Audit
You see screenshots of your current site on a phone and a computer, and a plain-language list of what to fix, in the order to fix it.

Spec
You see a written plan: what the new site has to do, who it's for, the order of its pages and sections, and the colors and type.

Mockup
You see a working mockup in your own words, which you can open on your phone before anything is built.

Build
You see the finished site, and you review it before it launches.
WordPress or a static site
WordPress suits owners who want to edit their own pages.
A static site is plain pages with no editing system or database behind them, and it suits a site with infrequent updates. Every page is built ahead of time, so it loads very fast and uses very little server power. There's no login, plugin, or database for an attacker to get into, and no software to keep updated. You can still change it whenever you need to: send me the change, and I'll make it.

Copies of your site, kept in case they're needed.
